Too much of what passes for social media is technically correct and emotionally absent. Posts that perform. Brands that blend in. Audiences that scroll past without feeling a thing.
Aftertaste was founded on a single conviction: the brands people remember are the ones that feel like something. We set out to build a practice entirely devoted to social media, where every caption, every image, every campaign is designed to accumulate into something unmistakable.
We take on a small number of clients at a time. Each engagement is bespoke, built from scratch, and handled with the kind of attention most agencies reserve for their biggest accounts.
I didn't start in marketing. I started on a stage.
I spent my whole life dancing. Trained, competed, graduated with a degree in professional dance, and went on to perform professionally. But somewhere along the way, I realised that what I loved most wasn't just the movement. It was the storytelling. The way a performance could make someone feel something without a single word.
When Covid hit and everything moved online, I found a new stage. I started using social media the way I'd always used a studio: as a place to create, to experiment, to tell stories that actually meant something. What started as a creative outlet turned into a career. I began helping businesses and personal brands show up online in a way that felt real, considered, and genuinely them.
"Aftertaste is the agency I always wanted to exist. One that leads with taste, not templates."
For the past six or seven years I've been doing exactly that, freelancing across strategy consulting, brand design, and social media for all kinds of businesses and personal brands. And now I'm building something bigger.
